Magens Bay Beach has been called one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world by National Geographic Magazine. Local legend says that Sir Francis Drake used Magens Bay as an anchorage for his ships while he watched from a nearby hilltop for ships that he could plunder. Magens Beach is heart shaped and is approximately 1 mile long. While there is plenty of beach to sun on, there are also plenty of shaded areas under the trees. Coki Beach—3.7 miles
Coki Beach, also known as Coki Point Beach, is a must-visit open to the public touristy destination located in the meeting point of the Caribbean and the Tropical Atlantic, north-east end side of the island, approximately 20 minutes away from Havensight dock (where the cruise ships arrive) and adjacent to the entrance of Coral World in St. Thomas, considered as home of some of the best snorkeling in the US Virgin Islands. Nestled high in the volcanic peaks of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands sits St. Peter Great House and Botanical Gardens.
