Coconut Cove

Islamorada is in the Upper Keys, home of world class fishing, scuba diving, boating, and relaxing. This lovely home sits on a canal and is on 3 lots…so there is plenty of room. The house includes five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Upstairs boasts a large kitchen with bar that leads out to an immense screened-in porch - a favorite gathering spot for all our guests. Three of the five bedrooms are located upstairs with two bathrooms, one of which is a master. The family room area includes a TV and a queen pull-out sofa and love seat. Downstairs holds another two bedrooms and another full bath as well as a common seating area which can also be used as a game room. The house has a laundry room, its own private fishing dock, as well as a boat slip at the marina.

Venetian Shores is a great community and very safe. Take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy all the charming homes set amid the tropical beauty of Islamorada.

Whether it’s family or friends, or both, your group will find this the perfect place for enjoying all that the Florida Keys has to offer.

What Else To Do

Founders Park

This is a GREAT park. It has a beach, pool, bike/rollerblade paths, tennis courts, marina, work out course and more. It’s less than a mile down the road on the gulf side. There are bike/running paths from Venetian Shores to Founder’s Park. MM 86.5

Theater by the Sea

Just over the bridge near the famous Tiki bar, you can swim with the dolphins at Theater by the Sea. MM 84.5 Oceanside

Famous Ticki Bar

Also just over the bridge at mm , is the famous Tiki Bar. You must stop by and have a cocktail. They also have some shops, food and usually a live band. Home of the Rumruner. MM 84

Movie Theater

Just a ways back North is a theater with 12 screens. They are usually up to date. MM 91 are all in this strip center. There are also some restaurants, bars and stores.

Key West (mile marker 1)

Take a drive down to Key West. Approximately 2 hours, but well worth the drive.

Restaurants

There are tons of restaurants in the Keys…to many to name, so we’ll just list a few for now. Most are in a 5 mile radius of the house. To find exactly the Mile Marker (if we didn’t list it), check in the phone book in the cupboard. They normally list menus too.

Island Grill:
Our favorite all around. Seafood on the water Just over the bridge, Oceanside MM 85.3

Ballyhoo's:
MM98. All you can eat stone crabs

Mangrove Mikes:
Our favorite for breakfast and lunch south of the house on oceanside. MM81.5ish

Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar:
Great seafood and atmosphere, indoor or outdoor seating on the water. There is also a bar outside that normally has a band. MM 81.9

Islamarada Fish Company:
Seafood, Great place to watch sundown, Outdoor seating on the dock, Has a great little outdoor bar, Seafood market next door MM 81.5

Mile Marker 88:
Located at mm 88 very close to the house. A little more dressy (although nothing is fancy in the keys).

Hog Heaven:
Very close to the house – just over the bridge, On the water Sports bar, Good bar food, Great hamburger, Check out the hog out back, MM 85.3

Key Lime Products:
Must stop by for a slice of key lime pie, Mile Marker 95 & one south of house on Oceanside

Snappers:
A ways back up the road, but always a favorite. Mile Marker 94.5 Oceanside Seafood, Outdoors on the Dock
